weather report

assata likes doing video reports on different things. she named herself sasparilla. she loves to be in front of the camera. she did some research on a weather website and found out the weather in atlanta, pittsburgh, and akron. we made little weather symbols and used a map we had in the armoire full of books and art supplies.

sasparilla put on her little white blazer and her womens size 9 silver high heel mary janes, got in front of the mirror and put her hair in a ponytail, applied her lip gloss, and she was camera ready.

s: i am glad that i get recess more often because i'm home schooled. and i like going to my grandparents, and they let me swing on the swings alot. and i like watching care bears at their house, and listening to veggie tales.


i like going to the park and i like to dance around the house every day with my mom and brothers. and i like to dance with my ballerina doll. and go to the library. i want to go to a dance academy and learn ballet. i love african dance and drumming.

w: i like to play, i like to drum and i'm a good drummer. i like to read books and i like to say hi to dad in his studio. i like to draw pictures for my mommy, and she dances for me when i drum. and my brother is my favorite drummer. i like to go with uncle jermaine, and i like to play with grandpa.
